We are proud to partner with law enforcement to offer the T.E.A.M. program to our 5th and 7th grade students in some of our buildings. T.E.A.M. stands for Teaching, Educating and Mentoring, and was adopted by the Michigan State Police to replace the older DARE program. This is a 10-week program taught by a certified officer in the classroom. Topics include vaping, alcohol, drugs, gun safety, school violence, bullying, the court system, and cell phone/computer/internet safety. At the end of the program students complete an essay showing what they have learned. Students also receive a certificate of completion, a T.E.A.M. shirt, as well as giveaways throughout the program. #WeAreHVS #HVSsuccess

This week, our GSRP students at Apollo bundled up to visit the Kensington Farm & Nature Centers. The Green Bean students loved learning about what different animals can offer us, how to care for them, their habitats, and even petting some live creatures!
