PLEASE BE ADVISED: Milford High School will be conducting a Mock Car Crash demonstration tomorrow, May 22nd around 9:30 am. There will be emergency vehicles at the high school during this time for the demonstration.
Congratulations to MHS student Vinny Prevete on his selection to the University of Michigan Youth Ensembles Program as a member of the Trombone Ensemble. Vinny auditioned and was selected for this group, which is a year long program that runs each school year.
Congratulations as well to LHS student Lila Mahler, who was also selected to be a part of the University of Michigan Youth Ensembles Program. Lila was selected as a member of the Percussion Ensemble, as well as the Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band! Lila just finished a year as a member of the Spartan Youth Wind Symphony at MSU.

On Saturday, the HVS Transportation Dept hosted the 2024 Oakland County School Bus Rodeo. The event was a huge success. The level of teamwork it took to pull it off was amazing. They received additional support from grounds, maintenance, technology, the business office, administration, board members, and the community. Everyone working together was an awesome experience.
The icing on the cake? They earned 1st place in the team competition for the 3rd year in a row. On top of that our drivers placed 1st (Nicole Ostrander), 2nd (Danielle Nedwash), and 3rd (Jerry Sadler) individually. This is the second year in a row HVST earned the top three spots.
