Employee Safety Manual

Huron Valley Schools is committed to providing the resources necessary to promote and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

The purpose of this manual is to serve as a guide for establishing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions and to promote safe practices by all HVS staff. All employees are expected to be well-informed and act in a safe manner regarding potentially hazardous materials, equipment and activities associated with their employment. Employees shall also have the responsibility to correct any unsafe conditions they become aware of, or to report the condition via the "Maint-Safety Work Order" icon found on their computer desktop, if they cannot correct it. This manual is to be used as the basis of safety programs and best practices as established by the Huron Valley Schools Safety Committee.
