This morning, Sophomores at International Academy West presented their Personal Projects in a student showcase for other IA students and parents to learn about what they have been working on during their IA career.

On Friday, January 10th and Saturday, January 11th, all three of our high schools were represented at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District IV Honor Band held at Clarkston High School. The students represented themselves, our bands, and HVS with pride and professionalism, as always.

Tonight, at the Milford Independent Cinema, the Huron Valley MLK Day Committee is hosting Film Appreciation Night featuring the documentary Me, the "Other" - the story of twelve students from Ann Arbor facing and overcoming a variety of forms of prejudice.
There will even be a live Q&A with several cast members following the film.
