Kaye Sommer, CTE Coordinator, attended the Leaders Influencing Future Teachers (LIFT) Conference at Saginaw Valley State University with students from Milford High School and their Education General teacher, Kelsey Breen.
Students were invited to compete in early childhood and elementary teacher competitions and also learn more about the teacher pathway, scholarships, and mentoring available.
Our students were also able to meet with Cassie Freiburg, a former MHS graduate, who is a current student at SVSU and getting ready to enter the teaching program.
One of the MHS students, MaKenna Williams, who plans to attend SVSU next year in the College of Education, was recognized that day as a future teacher.

🎃 Halloween Fun Across the District! 👻

From minions to princesses, athletes galore,
Our schools were festive from ceiling to floor!
Laughter and costumes filled every hall,
Even Central Office joined in on the call!

With a clever surprise that gave quite a thrill —
They all dressed as Superintendent Salah (what a skill!) 😄
From head to toe, they played the part,
A Halloween hit with plenty of heart!

Thanks to all who made it sweet,
With creativity that can’t be beat!
