Congratulations to several Milford High School art students for having their artwork selected for the Congressional Art Show sponsored by Congresswoman Lisa McClain. THIS SATURDAY, MAY 11 from 1:00-3:00pm at the St. Clair County Community College Fine Arts Theater (323 Erie Street, Port Huron, MI) is the opening reception.
We’d love all students to attend with their families and friends because our People’s Choice Winner will also hang in Washington, D.C. this year and will be voted on by the attendees, each having one vote. So the more people they bring, the more chances they have to have their Art Hang in the Capitol as well.
This is a great event to see the other 20+ high schools from around our congressional district. Every student will receive a Congressional Certificate and the chance to vote for their piece to go to DC. There will be a photographer, elected officials, representatives from different Fine Arts programs, etc.
