Amy Grzymkowski, Trustee
Amy Grzymkowski was appointed and then elected to the Board in 2022. She and her husband, Aaron have 4 children and a new daughter-in-law. Mrs. Grzymkowski has worked in the community as a volunteer and in professional roles as the director of the local business association and currently as the Human Resources and Marketing Manager of Western Oakland Transportation Authority. A resident of Commerce for almost 25 years, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, and teaching Sunday School.
“My love of community started with my mom. She modeled volunteerism and as a young mother, I followed in her footsteps helping in the schools, fostering relationships, and dedicating myself to building up those around me. I hope to continue to be a bridge between parents and the district – to work towards open dialogue, academic rigor, and helping students succeed no matter their ability. I am humbled to serve as a Board member and aim to do my very best for our district.”
