Four LHS students were selected for the WMU All-Star Band, which will play at WMU on 4/14. These students will perform with 100 high school students from Michigan.

Congratulations to the Huron Valley Winter Guard who had an awesome performance at the Troy MCGC Invitational walking away with a FIRST PLACE win in their class with a score of 72.36! Way to go HVA!!!

Yesterday, at the Gibraltar Carlson Invitational Drum Line, Huron Valley Percussion had a great performance in competition and finished in 2nd place with a 77.05. The group has been working incredibly hard & is gearing up next for State Championships held at Lakeland April 9th!

Congrats to Nic Antaya, Class of 2014, on being named the National Press Photojournalist Association Emerging Photojournalist of the Year for 2021 in their Best of Photojournalism contest! Nic is a freelance photojournalist based in Detroit, Michigan. He regularly photographs news, portraits, sports and photo essays for clients including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Getty Images, among many others.
