Lakeland's Caring Cove

Lakeland High School is home to The Caring Cove. The Caring Cove is a classroom at Lakeland that has items that students might find themselves needing.  The school social worker, Mrs. Grabow wanted to put something like this together for all the students at Lakeland High School.  "Life is difficult enough as it is, especially if you don't have the basic necessities to function."  These items include, but are not limited to, clothing, personal hygiene items, snacks, school supplies, prom/homecoming dresses, shoes, and more.  Additional items can be requested by students if needed.

The Caring Cove is possible thanks to the hard work of the Student Support Team at Lakeland High School along with the support of Meijer of White Lake, Home Depot of White Lake and Christ Lutheran Milford OutReach. Many thanks go to Huron Valley residents for donating items as well.
