Congratulations to the Huron Valley Winter Guard on winning the WGI Flint Regional. The guard won both prelims and finals finishing with a score of 83.39. They are working incredibly hard to have the best season possible and we are so proud of them!

On Wednesday, March 6, the Lakeland Wind ensemble performed at the MSBOA Band Festival at Waterford Mott HS, receiving a Superior Rating (Division I rating). This came less than a week after their Winter Concert where they performed The World Premiere of To the Bells of Berlin Cathedral, by composer Julie Giroux. The kids have had an incredible week!

Huron Valley Percussion opened their season this weekend with a 1st place finish at the Michigan Alliance for Performing Arts Bloomfield Hills Invite. The drumline had a great first show, scoring a 73.7! They are "home" at the WGI Regional at LHS this Sat, 3/2. Way to go HVP!!
This weekend, the Huron Valley Winter Guard competed at the WGI Chicago Regional. This was their 1st WGI competition of the season, & they not only won the Prelims Saturday, but they won again in Finals on Sunday, taking home the Gold Medal with a score of 82.14. Way to HVWG!
