Mr. Verellen and Ms. Ferguson's chemistry class is currently learning about the Nuclear Decay of Elements. In this lab, the class used M&M's to simulate the beta decay of C-14. The students are using the process of elimination and graphing the data to predict the age of an object containing the radioactive "element" candy. Students Cameron Chinavare and Braden Epley are sorting, counting, and documenting their data for the NCE lab.
