Yesterday, 10/17/2024, the cross country went across town to face off in the LVC championship. There, the 9 teams of the conference lined up their best 7 runners to race the 5k (3.1 miles) through the hilly trails of Hess Hathaway park. It was a hard fought contest with the Eagles coming out on top. In the end, Lakeland had all 7 runners place in the top 18 earning them All conference honors! Since the beginning of the LVC, only one other team has ever had all 7 of their runners be All Conference.
