Hello Class of 2028!
We would like to welcome you to Lakeland High School! We know that the transition from middle school to high school can be a hard one, so in an effort to help you with this transition we have our annual freshmen orientation program. This program is scheduled from 8am until Noon on Monday August 26th, 2024 here at Lakeland. Attendance is strongly encouraged. Thanks!
This program is run by our LINK Crew student mentoring program. These student leaders, Juniors and Seniors, will guide the incoming freshmen through a variety of activities, large group and small group, give a building tour, answer any questions they might have about Lakeland, and be a person they can connect with here at Lakeland during their freshmen year. The freshmen will be connected to at least one LINK Leader who will check in on them as the school year goes on.
This program is for students only, so parents please drop your students off at Lakeland around 7:45am to be ready for the 8am start time. The program will start and end in the fieldhouse. There is no lunch provided.
We are looking forward to seeing the Class of 2028 here at Lakeland in the fall and it all starts with Freshmen Orientation on Monday Aug 26th from 8am until Noon!
