Our 2nd graders in Mrs. Fedorka's class learning about problem solving and character building with Mrs. Scanlon, one of Oxbow's Social Workers, today. Happy Friday Owls!

Our Owls had a wonderful time at Skate Night this week! Thank you to all of our families and staff that attended tonight!

2nd grade did an art project for “a” day in the abc countdown where we labeled parts of a plant. What a great Spring project!

Similar to urgent care for a physical illness, Behavioral Health Urgent Care provides timely assessment and treatment for urgent, but not emergency, mental health needs. It offers an alternative to seeking care in the emergency room, helping to de-escalate mental health symptoms before they become a life-or-death crisis.

Our JK students in Mrs. Borrie's class had so much fun making Oobleck with their 4th grade buddies in Mrs. Brinkman's classroom. There were so many smiles today!

Mrs. Pipkin's class enjoyed learning outdoors today with the beautiful spring weather. Thank you OPC for the great picnic tables and umbrellas!

We are so happy to announce that Glenn, Mrs. Richard's dog, has passed his therapy certification! Glenn will be at Oxbow a few days a week as an additional sensory and intervention strategy.
Thank you to Mrs. Richards for all of her hard work in helping Glenn get through his program, and thank you to our OPC for helping to support this endeavor. We truly are lucky to be part of such a great school community, and love that Glen will be joining our Oxbow family.

Muffins with Mom (or that Special Someone) was absolutely amazing! It was fantastic to see all of the smiles. Thank you parents, staff, students and OPC for a memorable day!

Thank you to one of our very own, Mr. Cliff, from the HVS Transportation Department for showing our JK and K kids how great the bus can be and for taking them on a ride today! #kday #oxbow #owlpride

Here are some more students showing off their edible landform models from Mrs. Stackpoole's class. How fun!

Mrs. Stackpoole's class spent time this week creating their own edible landforms. What a great and tasty way to demonstrate their geographical skills!

Be sure to check out the White Lake Township Police Open House Sunday, June 5th from 12:00pm-3:00pm.

This morning Oxbow had the chance to recognize a handful of our students that have demonstrated multiple attributes from our Positivity Project. I big thank you to Leo's Coney Island in White Lake for donating food for our delicious breakfast celebration.

Congratulations to our two student teachers Ms. Przybylo and Ms. Brenner. Today was their final day at Oxbow as they completed their elementary education teaching degrees. These two amazing teachers have been a joy to have this past school year. We wish them good luck on their next adventure in education!

Mrs. Teskey’s class studies "selection" and does some taste testing and rating to try out various varieties of apples.

Happy Administrative Professionals' Day Mrs. Nowak and Mrs. Leece! We appreciate all that you do for our staff, students and families. #owlpride #twoofthebest
