Another great school year! Have a wonderful Summer break Mavericks!

ELA 10 students prepared infographics and engaged in a Gallery Walk. Their infographics were a representation of what they learned during their Connections project. They independently read and analyzed four texts that spanned and illustrated the main ideas from the units of study in ELA 10 this year.

Tonight - Join us for the choirs final concert of the year!

The 2023 marching band will be featuring singers in the show! If this is something you are interested in hearing more about - contact Bob Green. Auditions are next week (June 5th.)

Please join us in congratulating Eric Hincka, MHS Automotive teacher, on the ASE Accreditation renewal of his CTE Maintenance and Light Repair program. Congratulations, Eric! You teach a great program, and your students truly enjoy working with you.

A student's Senior year is always a proud fun milestone year but can also be a costly taxing year for families for multiple reasons.
We are always so blessed by the community we live in and the extraordinary support they provide our students to make prom night extra special. The Milford Police Dept, Ginas Bridal Salon, Milford Mane Care, Milford Village Florist, Milford Village Elves, D & B Landscaping, and Lei Ting. You are our heroes who we are so appreciative of too. If a dress is needed, you all made the night extra special by setting up and providing limo services, updo hairstyles, shoes, boutonnieres, corsages, jewelry, etc. Big smiles were on all our students' faces and priceless memories were made due to all of you. We are grateful and truly blessed to have your continued support!!
Smiles,
Milford High School Staff

Come join us for the Final concert of the year. This Friday at 7:00pm, in the CPA.

Also, congratulations to our Mavericks who received scholarships for summer enrichment opportunities over the summer. Pictured are Carson Lutz, Shea Giese, Annika Biondo-Smith, and Owen Petrusha. We look forward to hearing more in this fall.

Day one of Charity week was a success. Thank you to all our parents that came in to make the pancake breakfast memorable!

After weeks getting ready for their AP exam, our AP Environmental Science class is getting ready for Mothers Day. Choosing the correct size pot and decorating it, the appropriate size plant/flower, and planting it for their mom's. And one student even offered to do the dishes for Ms. Crow!

Expressing gratitude is associated with a host of mental health benefits. Students can anonymously share what they are thankful for if they choose to in the media center Thankful Jar.
MHS students are expressing they are thankful for their moms. Happy Mother's Day!

On this week of teacher appreciation - we are honored to have such dedication to our students!
As 351 students wrap up two weeks of 16 different Advanced Placement testing, we want to thank the teachers for preparing our students that chose to challenge themselves with a rigorous academic schedule and exam! Pictured here are the AP Calculus students as they headed off to take their AP Calculus exam. Their t-shirts were designed to wear on exam day and they enjoyed a pre exam breakfast and prep session in Ms. Hemmerling's room. Ms Flynn, for AP Psychology, hosted an optional breakfast review for a little extra preparation, and Ms Prescott, for AP English Literature, used a hexagonal thinking exercise to engage in discussions about the nuances of terms.

This week the MHS NHS students collected and donated 370 books to Humble Design! This local charity is for families that are transitioning from homeless shelters.
