An informational meeting was held this afternoon with our 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball Teams. Tryouts will be immediately following Winter Break. Dates and times are below:
Mon, Jan 8th 3:15 PM - 4:50 PM
Tues, Jan 9th 3:15 PM - 4:50 PM
Wed, Jan 10th 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM
Information packets were sent home with students who attended (includes what is required for tryouts). Information packets are available in the main office for those who were unable to attend. Information will also be included in the Weekly Warrior.

Remember last year's Pistons Assembly?? (The kids LOVED it!) We'd like to have another one for Student Appreciation Day 2024!
In order to host another assembly, we need to sell 100 tickets to the 2/4/24 3pm Pistons game against Orlando Magic. This year, we're making it a class competition. There's a prize for top seller, ticket-selling students in the top-selling class, AND the teacher of that top-selling class.
Ticket prices range from $26 to $62, so there is an option for every budget. We have a few sections of seats reserved, so plan a fun afternoon in Detroit and sit with your students' friends.
This would make a WONDERFUL holiday gift for your WLMS student. Who needs more STUFF in the house?? Not me. Give the gift of an EXPERIENCE and support WLMS at the same time.

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for November! Brianna, Reese, Brooklyn, Jared, Jackson, and Nolan all exemplify the Warrior motto, "Work hard and be nice to people."
A huge thank you to our transportation team and bus drivers for working to get our 7th graders to their Meadow Brook Theatre field trip last week. We know it took some very creative scheduling and bus swapping to get this done. We appreciate each and every one of you!!!!
Our Huron Valley Gymnastics team made everyone proud at their first meet. Ella Hamel placed 1st all around and Hailey Granger placed 4th all around for their age group. Congrats to all of our Warrior Athletes who represented WLMS at the meet: Harper B., Tanayzia B., Kaitlyn F., Karagan W., Alison D., Jenelle R., Rachel S., Madelynn F., Madelyn M. & Maddie S.
Our Robotics Team is headed to their first competition tomorrow in Hartland at the Hartland Qualifier. Good luck Wired Warriors!!!

Friday - MSU/UofM Spirit Day! Show off your spirit for your MSU or U of M as they go head-to-head this Saturday!
Friendly reminder - our 8th grade class picture will be tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. Students will report to 1st hour as normal. Order information will be sent home as soon as it is available!
