JK loved the warm weather today, using their new recess equipment! This was purchased using funding from the 2019 Bond. Continued thanks to our community for helping to support HVS!
Mathletes are at it again! Division 2 playing Par 55. This game helps us work on observational skills, hypothesizing and experimentation, multiple classification, addition/subtraction, and networks.
Oxbow Mathletes are playing Kings & Quadraphages this morning. This game helps with developing their active problem solving, logical/ scientific reasoning and spatial/ geometric awareness.
Oxbow's JK had their own Winter Blast this week, as they "made snow" while practicing their 5 senses!
Even though the snow has melted, Mrs. Walker's class found a way to write in the "snow" (shaving cream) to practice spelling our heart words!
Oxbow Mathletes are back at it this morning! They are playing Juggle and practicing measurement of area and perimeter, transformational geometry (rotations, reflections, and translations), congruence, structural analysis of space, and active problem solving.
Oxbow says "Go Lions!!!"
