Today Mr. Ristau worked with 1st graders in Mrs. Utterback's class, using the "2nd Step Program." This program helps students develop character building traits to create a positive school culture and environment.
Oxbow staff had a great tailgate breakfast this morning! Staff and students really showed off their Michigan and Michigan State spirit-wear. May the best team win tomorrow! Go Blue and Go Green!

Today Oxbow's 5th Graders completed a fun science activity outside. During this science investigation the students collected evidence in their science notebooks, as they hypothesized what animals visit Oxbow's Playground.

This week during Tech. Time the students researched and explored different careers with Mr. Rehnlund. Many of the students even got to try out some cool jobs on their Chromebooks, using the program Xello. This program was selected by Oakland schools as an interactive module to provide students opportunities in Career Readiness, recently established by the Michigan Department of Education. Go Owls!
