Robotics Team
Oak Valley has two robotics teams: Steam Stingers and Buzzin' Bots! They prepare for FTC challenges by programming their robots, learning how to code, and working collaboratively. Coach Jeffrey Senk leads our teams as they compete during the school year.
The Robotics teams will meet Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Robotics room. Competitions are held on at least two Saturdays. The team was formed through applications in August.
Official season kicks off in September and ends in December
You will learn with your teammates and build new experiences along the way
You have an opportunity to learn programming, building and marketing skills
Meetings are twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays
We build a new robot each year from scratch
