6th, 7th, and 8th-grade WLMS art students created a heartfelt, mixed-media tribute to veterans, capturing layers of emotion and gratitude. The base of the piece is assembled from nearly 100 handwritten messages of thanks, appreciation, and admiration to our veterans. The notes are combined with drawings of symbols of American pride and freedom. The students then hand-painted an image of the American Flag over the collaged base.
