Congratulations to 7th grader, Charlie, who performed at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Honor Days on Monday. He performed on stage at Orchestra Hall in Detroit under Dr. Ken Thompson, a professor of music at Bowling Green State University. Congrats, Charlie! #wearemuir

Both Muir's 6/7th & 8th grade Girls Basketball teams made the 4 team league playoff. The 6/7th team won round 1 & advances to the championship at Muir on Wednesday at 4:00. 8th grade lost but grew a ton this season. Great job Colts and good luck to our girls tomorrow! #wearemuir

Mrs. Spellicy's 6th grade ELA students explored sentence construction through a hands-on project. They built themed neighborhoods made of simple, compound, & complex sentences, all with color-coded clauses & conjunctions. Students were engaged in this creative lesson! #wearemuir

Muir's 7th & 8th grade Choir students recently traveled to the MSVMA District 4 Choral Festival. Both groups scored high enough for a 1st division rating, which qualifies both groups to continue to State Choral Festival in May. Go Colts! #wearemuir

Muir's 7th and 8th Grade Bands had a once in a lifetime experience with world renowned composer, Carol Brittin Chambers at our March Musical Madness event at MHS. The combined band premiered their newly commissioned piece called Pulsato! Fantastic concert! #wearemuir
