Senior Grace Miller, who plays alto saxophone in the Milford Wind Ensemble, found out she was formally accepted into the National Youth Wind Ensemble. The audition process required a recorded audition, application, and multiple recommendations on her behalf. Grace was selected from applicants all across the country for this tremendous honor. Immediately after graduation, she will travel to Washington, D.C., and will spend the week in June working with some of the finest musicians from around the country. She will have the honor of working with Colonel Jason Jettig, the conductor for the "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, as well as Dr. Kevin Sedatole, who happens to be the Director of Bands at Michigan State University. What a tremendous honor and accomplishment. We are extremely proud of Grace! Go Mavs!!!
