HVS is once again offering Junior Kindergarten, a free-to-families program designed for students who would benefit from a two-year kindergarten experience. The JK curriculum features a play-based, learn by doing approach, and students also receive art, music and physical education classes - just like the big kids.

Junior kindergarten speech students completed a BEE MINE valentine project while working on following directions and improving their articulation skills.

Mr. Shouldice is developing ukuleists at Heritage Elementary. Mrs. Mauller's fifth graders are enjoying this four stringed instrument and feeling the joy of playing songs with a feel good beat. The ukulele offers a great start to getting students interested in playing an instrument in middle school.
