Mrs. Black played a key role in launching the One School, One Book program, inviting students and their families to read together and celebrate the joy of storytelling. She also brought renowned authors to visit our students, inspiring them with stories of creativity and perseverance. Her dedication to hosting memorable Scholastic Book Fairs turned the library into a hub of excitement and discovery, further nurturing a vibrant literary culture at Heritage.
“Susan Black is truly one of a kind,” said a fellow staff member. “Her passion for books and her dedication to our students have left an incredible mark on our school.”
Though we will miss seeing her daily, we are excited to hear that Mrs. Black plans to pop in for visits during future book fairs, continuing to share her love of reading with our community.
As we turn this page, we carry forward the legacy of literacy and enthusiasm she has instilled in us all. Thank you, Mrs. Black, for everything you have done. We wish you the very best in this next chapter of life!
