REMINDER: One more week until Spring Break!
Tonight is The Kurtz Takeover of the Milford Cinema for grades 3-5. There are still tickets available if you are still interested in attending. 3rd - 5th grade night: Monday, 3/20 at 6pm. What do you need to know? Tickets for the event will be $5 per guests. Due to the limited seating, parents must buy their tickets online. Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis until the event is sold out. Go to https://www.milfordcinema.org/kurtz to purchase tickets. This is not a drop off event. We ask that only one adult per family accompanies their child(ren) in order to maximize the number of students who can attend. The Milford Cinema will donate the ticket sales back to the Kurtz PTA.
The Shamrock Shuffle is fast approaching. We are looking for volunteers on Saturday, March 18 to make this event successful and fun for everyone attending. 1, 2, 3, 4 This Declares a Penny War! Put your spare change towards a great cause. We invite family and friends to join us in the Kurtz Penny Wars starting on March 20th – 24th, 2023. Participation is open to all grades and the winning grade will get bragging rights, a trophy, and a pizza party. Start saving your coins now. All money will be donated to the Kurtz Elementary Email Angels Hardship Fund. Please see the attached flyers. Students can start bringing their coins in on Monday, March 20th.
Who are the Email Angels? We have a parent group in place at Kurtz referred to as Email Angels. Our Email Angels is a group of parents and community members who are supportive, caring and ready to lend a hand. The Email Angels help our Kurtz families in need with items such as: gently used clothing, holiday support, food etc.
