The Kurtz community loves celebrating our veterans. Please consider sending in a picture of a family member that is a veteran. We will be honoring our veterans on a hallway board at school!
Please include the following information with the photo:
Veteran's name
Branch of Service
Student’s name
Student’s teacher’s name
All photos need to be submitted no later than Friday, Nov. 7th to be included on the board in time for the Veteran’s Day Celebration on Nov. 11th.
We will make sure to get these treasured pictures back to you before our December break.

Students are encouraged to wear their costumes to school on the 31st. Guests are invited to meet on the playground at 9:45 and enjoy the fun! The parade will start with all classes coming out of the gym doors and heading out to the Mileage Club track. All classes will make two loops around the track before heading in. All costumes must be elementary school appropriate, no horror, weapons or fake blood are permitted. Students wearing costumes that are not deemed elementary appropriate will be allowed to participate in the fun but will be asked to remove elements that do not meet expectations. Guests are asked not to park in the staff parking area next to the cafeteria/basketball court. 10/31/25 is a Half Day for students. Students will be released at 12:40.
