Happy Monday, Lakewood Families!
I hope you are staying warm. Since last was a very short week, I do not have much to report on. Our students and teachers continue to complete their mid-year benchmark assessments in all grade levels. These will be completed by Wednesday, January 29th. Report cards will be posted February 7th by 4:10 PM in Skyward Family Access.
Lakewood is 50 years old this year. I would like to establish a committee of staff members and parents to work with the HVS Communications department to plan a celebration. This would be a pretty low key committee. If you are interested in this, please email me. heather.peaden@hvs.org
Finally, this Saturday, February 1st is our Kids Heart Challenge Event. It is from 1-3 PM at Milford High School. Check-In begins at 12:30. If you haven’t registered, here is the link. We have raised almost $9,000 so far, and our goal is $14,000 this year. Hope to see you there!
