Happy New Year, Lakewood Families!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. Our staff was so excited to welcome back our students after the two week break. Last week our staff and students participated in the second round of SOAR assembly rotations. We went over what SOAR (school expectations) look like in the cafeteria, in the classroom, and in the playground. Additionally, either this week or next week, I will be visiting each classroom to go over arrival, dismissal, and bus safety expectations.
Last Friday our students had their Kids Heart Challenge Kick-Off Assembly. Your child should've brought home a flier with directions on how they can sign-up for the Kids Heart Challenge. The Kids Heart Challenge Event will be on Saturday, February 1st from 1-3 PM at Milford High School. We hope to see you there.
