Tim Koerber, better known as Mr. Tim at Lakewood, was born in Saginaw and raised in Holly, Michigan. Tim graduated from Holly High School in May of 2000. During his senior year, he enlisted in the US Army. His first order was reporting to Alaska and from there, Tim embarked on a military career that spanned over two decades. This took him across various states in the U.S., including Oklahoma, Ohio, Colorado, Indiana, and Alabama, along with two tours in Iraq. After retirement he came back to Michigan and his youngest daughter attended Lakewood for her 5th grade year. This was when he started at Lakewood as a recess supervisor!
