Third graders at Johnson brought some fun into the classroom by having a Disney themed afternoon. There were learning activities, games, and of course Disney themed snacks for all to enjoy. The kids and teachers had a blast!

The Johnson PTA is having a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10am over Zoom. It’s an important one - approving next year’s budget and electing new officers. The Zoom link will be emailed to members. Hope you can join!
Our third graders have been learning about metamorphosis. They have been observing their caterpillars for about a month. Some of them have started hatching from their pupas or chrysalis, and have become butterflies.
This week our 5th graders has a wonderful time at Camp Ohiyesa. The weather was perfect for the various activities they were able to engage in. A special thank you to our parent chaperones, our 5th grade teachers and of course our students for representing Johnson with Jaguar PRIDE!

Fifth graders at Johnson are getting ready for another sunny day of fun at Camp Ohiyesa in Holly.
Second graders took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and had a nature walk, looking for living things in their habitats.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you to our wonderful Johnson PTA for putting out an amazing breakfast spread for all of our teachers and staff.
Our Wild About Books Spring Book Fair was our best book fair yet! Thank you to everyone who supported our school by purchasing books, donating money, and volunteering your time. We raised over $600 to buy books for students and teachers, and Mrs. Chynoweth was able to purchase almost $300 worth of books for the media center.
The Johnson "Wild About Books" Spring book fair has been a huge success. A special thank you to Mrs. C for organizing the event as well as our parent volunteers for helping out. We couldn't do it without you!

Ms. Bickel's 2nd graders have been learning about maps. They studied how to read maps, and then made their own. They even made 3D representations of their maps with clay.
