During the month of October, Harbor High School, in partnership with Community Sharing, organized a winter boot drive to support elementary students in Huron Valley Schools. The HHS student leadership team led the charge, encouraging parents to search their closets and mudrooms for gently used boots in sizes for kindergarten through 5th grade students. The drive collected new and gently used boots that were clean and in good condition, providing a much-needed resource for local families as the colder months approached.
At the beginning of November, the donated boots were delivered to Community Sharing, where they would be distributed to families in need. Community Sharing has long been a valued partner to Harbor High School, generously providing fresh fruit and snacks each week and offering vital support to families facing challenges. Harbor High School was proud to contribute to this meaningful effort, helping ensure that students in our community are well-equipped for the winter ahead.
