Principal Ben Dowker told students how proud he was of students with his opening remarks at the start of Harbor's annual awards ceremony, noting that looking around the room, he saw "courage".
Each year HHS holds this special event on seniors' last day to recognize students for their hard work. The ceremony ends with graduates receiving their caps and gowns. Teachers give out individual awards and the staff as a whole identify students that were recognized in various categories for plaque awards, which hang on the wall near the front entrance to the school. Additionally this year was the inauguration of a new "HHS Hall of Fame" award honoring distinguished alumni and staff members.
