This year’s leadership students at Harbor High School have really taken on the idea of giving back to their community. It began with a food drive during the holiday season to support families in need through Community Sharing. Now it has expanded to helping four legged friends at the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
HHS leadership students have been collecting bottles and cans through the holiday season to reach their donation goals. They have partnered with a local business run by a LHS alumni, Tyler’s Bottle Service, to return bottles and cans in support of the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
The leadership team has set themselves a goal, with some teacher support and Mr. Armstrong, HHS science teacher, has graciously agreed to dye his hair if the students are able to reach it. As an extra gift, leadership students are collecting fabric donations to create bandanas for our furry friends at the Humane Society.
