CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK
HVS is going digital! We are now using digital Criminal Records Check Forms. Please fill out the form if you plan to volunteer in a classroom, as a chaperone on a field trip or for an event such as Book Fair, Holiday Shop, Field Day etc. THIS IS FOR VOLUNTEERS ONLY PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO VOLUNTEER.
If you have already completed the digital CRC for another building in HVS, please just let the office know and we will pull your info from the district master list. The CRC request can take 2-4 weeks to process. CRC requests do not need to be done immediately. You can submit a request at any time of the year prior to when you plan to volunteer.
A new CRC needs to be completed every school year if you plan to volunteer in the building. Only one CRC is needed per person for the whole district. You do not need to fill one out for each building and/or each student. PLEASE ONLY FILL OUT THE DROPLET LINK ONCE and allow time for the one request to process. Every submission takes time to process, if parents are submitting multiple times, it slows the process down. Please do not contact HR to see if your CRC is processed. Once your CRC is approved your student's teacher will be notified. When you sign up to volunteer your student's teacher will then check to see if you are approved. If you are signing up for a schoolwide event the office will notify the event coordinator whether all volunteers are approved.
