In Ms. Connie's preschool classroom, teachers read the children a non fiction “Polar Bears” book where they learned about how polar bears stay warm in the arctic and in the Ocean with the winter blubber they put on under their fur. They then completed a science project where the students could feel the water temperature through an empty plastic bag or a plastic bag lined with a lard insulated “Polar Bear Paw '' when placed in the water. Everyone had so much fun!
